Última ออกแบบและพัฒนาเครื่องหั่นย่อยต้นถั่วลิสง Thai Agricultural Mongkol Tunhaw; Kolawat Tinimgoon; Rungsit Sirimala. Objectives of this research project were to design and develop a peanut haulm cutting machine (chopper) in order to prepare peanut haulm suitable for making animal feed or compost. Two cutting knives made of high-speed steel with 1 foot in length were installed at the opposite sides (of the shaft). The angle of the knives was set up horizontally at 18 degrees. The knives rotated at 900 rpm and the machine has capacity of cutting peanut haulm at 515 kg/hr. At the feed rate of 3 m/min, the length of chopped product was about 6.2 - 7.6 cm. The machine was powered by a 6-horsepower gasoline engine and its fuel consumption rate was 1 L/hr .
