การศึกษาความแปรปรวนของช่วงฤดูฝนในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ Thai Agricultural

Uncertainty of the beginning and the end of rainy season which is a result of climate changes from global warming can have a great impact on plant production. This is particularly clear in the Northeast which is mainly rain-fed agriculture. The Office of Agricultural Research and Development Region 3, therefore, studied variation of the beginning and the end of rainy season of the Northeast using rainfall data from Meteorological Station from the year 1981 - 2010, 30 years in total. The data was imported and analyzed using MS Access 2000 and compared to the five-year assessment of spatial data. Antagonistic activity of bacterium B. subtilis B076 on nutrient agar medium (NA) to Acidovorax avenae subsp. citrulli (Aac) isolate KK9 causal agent of bacterial fruit blotch, in the laboratory of Agricultural Biotechnology Research Center for Sustainable Economy Khon Kaen University. The results revealed that the B. subtilis B076 could exhibit the inhibition zone of diameter 1.94 cm. When cultured the bacterium antagonist in nutrient broth (NB) added with 2% glucose, the maximum ratio of heat tolerant cells production (61%) was obtained five days of incubation. ผลของแบคทีเรียปฏิปักษ์ Bacillus subtilis B006 ในการเคลือบเมล็ด เพื่อควบคุมเชื้อรา Botryosphaeria rhodina สาเหตุโรคยางไหลของแตง Thai Agricultural

Study was conducted to test find out the efficiency of the antagonistic bacterium Bacillus subtilis B006 against to Botryosphaeria rhodina cause of gummosis disease of cucurbit. The bacterium was determined its inhibition capability on the growth of B. rhodina 14 isolates. The results revealed that the antagonistic capability was significantly different into 9 groups. This bacterium was cultured in nutrient broth (NB) added 2% glucose and incubated at 28°C for 3, 5, 7 and 9 days and then, treated at 80°C for 30 min for heat tolerance cells. The maximum heat tolerant cells production (46-47%) was obtained 5-7 days of incubation.
