| RESUMEN La formación de biopelículas es un proceso importante para las comunidades bacterianas marinas debido a que este mecanismo favorece la adaptación a variaciones en las condiciones ambientales. El objetivo de este estudio fue evaluar la formación de biopelículas de las bacterias aisladas de sedimentos marinos en condiciones in vitro. Para esto se realizaron ensayos de cuantificación de biopelículas usando dos métodos, cristal violeta y reducción del colorante XTT; además se evaluó la viabilidad de las bacterias mediante la tinción Live/Dead. Posteriormente las cepas evaluadas fueron identificadas usando el marcador 16S ARN. | La proporción de especies exóticas en un área protegida y su matriz aledaña está influenciada por disturbios naturales y antrópicos, como el uso de la tierra y el tráfico de visitantes al área, que potencian la susceptibilidad a invasiones. Se analizó cuali y cuantitativamente la diversidad de especies exóticas en áreas disturbadas del Parque Nacional Los Alerces, Chubut. Se seleccionaron dos sitios sometidos a cada uno de los siguientes disturbios: incendio, pastoreo y acampe, donde se utilizaron transectas de 50 m de longitud. | The aim of the present study provides the first results on the reproductive biology of the anchovy, Anchoa marinii, in a nearby-coastal area of Mar Chiquita coastal lagoon, 37º32'00"S 57º19'00"W, Argentina. To perform this, we employed mainly female gonads, at both microscopic and macroscopic levels. The oocyte diameter distribution and the microscopy analysis of oocytes, showed different batches of growing oocytes, suggesting that the anchovy is a multiple spawner, with constant oocytes recruitment all over the reproductive season. The batch fecundity ranged between 749 and 3,207 oocytes for females, and the relative fecundity ranged from 127 to 422 yolked oocytes per female gram (ovary free). | ABSTRACT The reproductive potential of red porgy in coastal waters of Buenos Aires Province (Argentina) and Uruguay (34º-39ºS) was studied by means of a macroscopic and histological analysis of the gonads. Length and age at first maturity were determined, and fecundity, spawning frequency and egg quality were estimated. The spawning season extended from spring through summer between October and January with a peak of spawning in December. Length and age at maturity for sexes combined was 24.5 cm TL and 1.54 years, respectively.
