| Cette étude a pour objet de dresser un bilan des flux d'azote apportés par les bassins versants et responsables des marées vertes dans plusieurs sites du littoral de la Bretagne, au printemps-été 1998. Elle s'inscrit dans un suivi pluriannuel commencé l'an dernier (Coïc et al, 1997). Elle en reprend les sites et la méthodologie, définis en concertation avec MM. Merceron (IFREMER-DEL) et Piriou (Agence de l'Eau Loire-Bretagne). | The English Channel comprised the ICES areras VIIe and VIId which are more or less a part of the North Sea area as delimitated by Ascobans. Two studies (Pingiroise and FilManCet) were conduced in that area. Filmancet study comprises two different areas: North Brittany and Nord Pas de Calais (Figure 1). The main objectives are to quantify accidental catches of marine mammals in set nets and identify solutions to limit them. Pingiroise is a study dedicated to the set net fishery in the Iroise area at the west of Brittany. | This report synthesizes the discussions of a workshop organized during the "Liteau II-AMP" project , a collaborative project involving scientists and MPA managers that aimed at developing diagnostic and exploratory tools for the assessment of Marine Protected Areas performance. This 2004-2006 project was funded by the Liteau program (http://www.liteau.ecologie.gouv.fr) of the French Ministry of Ecology and Sustainable Development.
