Process and Product Analysis of the Village-Scale Processing of Sweetpotato in the Philippines OAK

Village level root crop processing system in the Philippines was evaluated using sweetpotato (cv. Kogane sengan and Shiro satsuma) as materials. The PRCRTC chipper/grater had more pronounced power fluctuation in grating than in chipping and peaking during the loading of the roots. The grinder had the highest energy requirement than the other machines,but the power fluctuation was relatively stable regardless of the amount of materials loaded. The finisher had a stable power fluctuation,and its power increased as either the loading rate or rpm was increased. Size and weight of chips and fineness modulus of grates were affected by the rpm of the blades. 三次元視覚センサによるキャベツ結球の形状計測と収穫適期判定 OAK

キャベツ選択収穫機のための収穫適期判定を目的とし, レーザ距離センサによる三次元視覚センサを開発した。三次元視覚センサは, 外葉を含めたキャベツ結球全体の三次元形状を非接触で検出し, また結球頂部の半展開葉の状態も計測できた。「アーリーボール」の場合, 計測波形をもとに球径と半展開葉の有無で判定すると収穫適期のランク3では77%のキャベツが収穫適と判定され, 適期前のランク2では8%の誤判定が見られた。さらに, 圧縮法の硬さを組み合わせた場合, ランク2の誤判定とランク3の判定精度は, それぞれ8%, 95%であった。また,「金系201号」では球径のみの判定法で, それぞれ7%, 91%の値を示した。 Three-D vision sensor to determine the harvest maturity of cabbage heads was developed for use in selective cabbage harvester. 圧縮法によるキャベツ収穫適期判定の基礎的研究 OAK

近年, キャベツ収穫には一斉方式の収穫機が導入されているが, 実際には生育差が大きいために生産者からは3回程度に分けて選択収穫することが望まれている。本研究は選択収穫機のための適期判定装置の開発を目的とし, 結球頂部を2段階圧縮して変位と荷重の関係から適期判定する方法について検討した。結球は, 熟度が進むほど変位荷重曲線の傾きは大きくなり, 収穫適期となるランク3で最も変位が小さく硬くなる。本判定法の荷重35~40Nの場合, 未熟なランク2では「アーリーボール」で16%,「金系201号」で8%のキャベツを収穫適と誤判定したものの, 収穫適となるランク3では両品種とも81%の精度で適期判定した。 Presently,cabbage harvesting is done manually by selectively picking up cabbage heads directly from the field three times per harvest season.
