| French fishermen have been fishing porbeagle shark Lamna nasus on the edges of the continental shelf, from the Bay of Biscay to the south of Ireland. Incidentally, until the past few years, when, during summer, bluefin tunas Thunnus thynnus, albacores Thunnus alalunga and sworfishes Xiphias gladius were caught on the same line.
