CDATA[Patagonian scallop (Zygochlamys patagonica) is a suspension feeder bivalve that presents the highest concentrations of recruits associated to the shelf-break front; but the temporal pattern of these recruitments have not been described in detail. Given the importance of recruitments for the development of the fishery and the population dynamics of the resource, in this report space-time distribution [catch per unit of effort (CPUE) of specimens =<, 15 mm, age 0+] is described and comparison between years and the Management Units (MU) 1.2 and 2 carried out.
