Investigation was made of growth and yield rice in response to different environments of irrigated rice varieties in paddy field at Klong Luang Rice Research Center during 2012 to 2013. The objective of this research was to correlate the effect of climate change on growth and rice yield. Five non-photoperiod sensitive rice varieties (Suphanburi 1, Suphanburi 2, Pathumtani 1, RD 29 and RD 43) were varied planting date. The results showed that 1) Increasing of the mean temperature, rain, humidity, wind speedy and the cumulative of sunshine per day will tend increasing height and number tiller of rice during sowing date to tillering stage. 2) Low temperature and lese of the cumulative amount of sunshine per day effect to the ripening stage was shorter... |

Farmers in irrigated area tried to grow rice more than 2 crops/year. Nowadays there are no break even data. The aim of this research to compare economic data between 2 and 3 crops/year rice cropping system. Experiments were conducted in farmer’s field and Pathumthani Rice Research Center’s field, Pathum Thani province in 2011-13. There were 3 experiments : using the same variety, changed variety every season and changed variety every season with short duration rice variety in the rice cropping system. Each experiment consisted of 2 treatments : 2 and 3 crops/year rice cropping system.
