| This study aimed to estimate the height of the diameter at breast height by adjusting mathematical equations in a Pinus taeda L. population in the municipality of Eneas Marques, PR. For this, we conducted a forest inventory through systematic sampling. In each plot was carried out to measure the circumference at breast height of all individuals , and the overall height of only 30 % of them , and other times estimated by the chosen equation. To adjust the hypsometric models was used PROC REG procedure , where ten mathematical models were tested . | No setor florestal brasileiro, algumas organizações não acompanham o ritmo do desenvolvimento de outros setores da economia e da adoção de ferramentas e metodologias de gestão da qualidade. Em função do atraso, baixa qualidade e alta instabilidade dos processos, ocorrem grandes desperdícios e perdas econômicas. | The natural regeneration after natural or anthropogenic disturbances is an important element to reestablishing shrubby-arboreal species, that is, in the restoration of abundance. To the analysis of the floristic composition and some phytosociology parameters of one three years old clearing that was burned in a mixed ambrofila forest near Segredo, RS, was sampled 16 parts measuring 2m x 2m, totaling 64 m². | ABSTRACT This study aimed to analyze the evolution of Brazilian wood doors exports in the period 2005-2015, as to their concentration. Monetary values of exports were collected in the UNCONTRADE database and deflated (base year 2005). For determine the concentration, it used the methods of Herfindahl-Hirschman and the concentration ratio (CR2, CR4 and CR8) classified in the Bain criteria. The real value of Brazilian exports ports for the reporting period decreased from US $ 227.3 million in 2005 to US $ 154.3 million in 2015.
