The Rhizoctonia is a stainer fungus that causes great damage to the timber industry, attacking several species of commercial interest. The objective of this study was to evaluate the resistance of wood sawn Jatoba with different moisture contents to the fungus Rhizoctonia solani attack, in a controlled environment and natural conditions. The experimental design was completely randomized with factorial arrangement of 2 x 2 x 4 and 12 repetitions. The treatments consisted of two regions of the wood sample collection (sapwood and heartwood), two environments B.O.D. (± 24 °C) under natural conditions (± 30 °C) and four levels of moisture (control, 20%, 40-45% and 70-75%). For the determination of the fungal mycelium, was used with plastic template size 0.05 x... |

The brazilian coffee growth is very important for the national economy, an activity of relevant economical and social importance. The coffee crop, as any other culture, needs cares in relation to the transport process. Among the factors that interfere and provoke considerable economical losses, the weed competition is one of the most important problems. Crops recently implanted can be submitted to chemical control (driven jet) of weeds. The present work aimed to quantify the intoxication of herbicides in coffee seedlings: glyphosate (180g i.a ha-1); 2,4-D (335g i.a. ha-1); glyphosate + 2,4-D (90g i.a + 167g i.a ha-1); oxyfluorfen (120 and 240g i.a. ha-1). in spite of the fintoxication provoked by herbicides, mainly oxyfluorfen in the largest dose, were... |
