| ABSTRACT The increase in the demand for seedlings of native tree species makes it important to determine their water and light requirements, which are important factors in their production, in terms of costs and time. Water use and productivity in the growth of seedlings of Dalbergia nigra (Vell.) Allemão ex Benth., Apuleia leiocarpa (Vogel) J.F. Macbr and Hymenaea courbaril L. were determined under four light levels (three shading levels and control), using a randomized block design with four replicates. | As características físicas das chuvas determinam sua erosividade, que constitui importante fator nas relações de causa e efeito do processo erosivo dos solos, sendo sua caracterização fundamental para o planejamento conservacionista. Este trabalho foi realizado com o objetivo de avaliar a distribuição dos atributos das chuvas (altura precipitada, duração, energia cinética, intensidade máxima em 30 min) e índices de erosividade (EI30 e KE > 25) em relação aos meses do ano e padrões de precipitação pluvial, para uma série de dados pluviográficos referentes à região de Ribeirão das Lajes (RJ). | This research introduces the development of an electronic flowmeter based on the drag force that a body experiences when immersed in a fluid stream. Its main goal was the development of an Electronic Drag Force Flowmeter (EDFF) using a load cell, as well as the evaluation of its performance parameters. The developed flowmeter should not require specialized labor, equipments, computers or any sophisticated and complex method, providing an easy and accurate way of flow estimation.
