Organic plant protection can be supported by diagnostic aids for pest organisms. A concept for a user-friendly, scientifically founded diagnostic aid for agriculturally relevant pest organisms is presented, which is based on a flexible filter structure and conclusive images. To provide practical information on biology and regulation options along with the diagnosis, recent scientific results and market availability of regulation options in organic farming are being reviewed. Informationsbeschaffung über ökologischen Pflanzenschutz bedeutet besonders für vielseitige oder neu umgestellte Betriebe einen enormen Aufwand. Ein Konzept für eine anwenderfreundliche Bestimmungshilfe für wichtige Schadorganismen im Ökolandbau wird vorgestellt, das auf einer simplen und flexible Filterstruktur aufbaut. Ein Review aktueller Forschungsergebnisse und der Marktverfügbarkeit und Zulassung ökologischer Regulierungsmöglichkeiten fließt in die Informationsbereitstellung ein. Bisher wurden die Bereiche zum Vorratsschutz, Ackerbau und Beikrautregulierung veröffentlicht, ein Bereich zum Obstbau erscheint 2018. The organic agricultural sector of Uganda is considered the most developed in Africa with a total of 296,203 ha organic certified land and the most certified organic producers worldwide (206,800), 90% of whom are small scale farmers. They are certified organic under contract production by export and processing companies, using an Internal Control System (ICS) as a group certification scheme defined by IFOAM (2004). The ICS is a viable and well accepted tool to certify small scale producers in developing countries all over the world. In Uganda however, certification difficulties are stated among the main constraints for the organic sector development. Ökologisch wirtschaftende Landwirte haben einen hohen und spezifischen Informationsbedarf zur Schaderregeridentifizierung und deren ökologischen Regulierungsmöglichkeiten. Ergänzend zur persönlichen Beratung ist ein eigenständiger Zugang zu Informationen zur Schaderregererkennung und Regulierungs­möglichkeiten wichtig. Der Vortrag ermittelt und bewertet das Online-Angebot an Tools zur Schaderregererkennung und Informationen über i) Sortenanfälligkeit, ii) Pflanzenstärkungsmitteln und Grundstoffen, iii) im Handel verfügbaren Nützlingen, und iv) zulässigen Pflanzenschutz­mitteln.
