| The effect of nitrogen (N) fertilization (0, 50, 100 and 200 kg N ha-1) on forage yield and morphogenesis of Axonopus aureus was evaluated in the savannas of Roraima State, Brazil. The experimental design was in randomized blocks with three replicates. The grass showed high responsiveness to N fertilization. Dry weight (DW) yield, morphogenetic and structural traits and forage quality were positively affected by N fertilization.
