| full-scale mechanical prototype line was deployed to a depth of 2500 m to test the leak tightness of the electronics containers and the pressure-resistant properties of an electromechanical cable under evaluation for use in the ANTARES deep-sea neutrino telescope. During a month-long immersion study, line parameter data were taken using miniature autonomous data loggers and shore-based optical time domain reflectometry. Details of the mechanical prototype line, the electromechanical cable and data acquisition are presented. | Les espèces de Décapodes dont on trouvera ici la description font partie de deux collections différentes. L’une, qui provient des îles Arou et Kei, fut formée par mou ami le Dr. H. MERTON et moi-même lors d’un voyage scientifique que nous fîmes dans ces archipels en 1908. L’autre provient de la Nouvelle Guinée où plusieurs expéditions hollandaises récoltèrent des matériaux carcinologiques d’eau douce. Ces expéditions sont celle de 1903 dans le nord de la partie hollandaise de la Nouvelle Guinée, sous la direction du Prof. A. WICHMANN, qui était accompagné par les zoologistes MM. les Drs. L. F.
