| The aim of this study was to determine the proper drying thickness and time in the sun, on cement floor, brewery waste. For the experiment was used brewery residue obtained in industry located in the municipality of Toledo - PR, which had DM content of 20.60%. The waste was distributed over the concrete surface with the aid of 26 frames with 2, 4, 6 and 8 cm thicknesses, corresponding to treatments, with six replications. The waste was exposed to sunlight for three days (9 o'clock on day 11 hours on the second day and 11 hours on the third day), and trashed every two hours of exposure to sun and covered during the night, to avoid deposition dew.
