| Avaliar a qualidade do solo (QS) é uma importante estratégia para definir práticas e sistemas de manejo capazes de manter ou melhorar a sustentabilidade dos sistemas agrícolas. Nesse sentido, este trabalho objetivou avaliar as alterações na QS por meio de indicadores físicos, químicos e biológicos em um Latossolo Vermelho cultivado com diferentes sistemas de manejo e diferentes fertilizantes. | ABSTRACT Pig farming has increased in recent years, resulting in the production of a large quantity of liquid manure, which can be used as a source of organic fertiliser. The aim of this work was to determine the influence of pig slurry on the community of soil fauna in a system of direct seeding. | ABSTRACT The distribution of phosphorus (P) in the soil interferes with the availability of the nutrient and can affect plant growth. The aim of this study was to compare the growth and accumulation of P in maize, soybean and sunflower plants in vertical gradients of the nutrient in the soil, with and without water stress. The design was completely randomised with five replications, in a 3 x 2 factorial scheme: three soil depth gradients of P (decreasing, increasing and nil) and two conditions of soil water availability (with and with no water stress). | ABSTRACT: Chemical and physical properties of soil can be altered with the successive application of liquid swine manure (LSM), also known as slurry. Therefore, monitoring the impact of LSM is essential to an assessment of the potential agronomic and environmental benefits and risks associated with management practices. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of LSM on the chemical and physical attributes of soil under pasture (Cynodon spp.), located in southern Brazil. | A elevada produção de dejeto líquido de suínos faz do solo a principal alternativa para a sua utilização na forma de fertilizante orgânico. Contudo, a adição de resíduos orgânicos nos sistemas de manejo do solo é um fator que pode influenciar a biota do solo. O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a influencia da aplicação de doses de dejeto líquido de suíno na fauna do solo em diferentes sistemas de cultivos.
