Brown planthopper resistant promising line, BKN04004-1-1-1-1 is non-photoperiod sensitive line derived from conventional breeding. BKN04004-1-1-1-1 was made by between female line "IR77924-12-38-1-1" and male line "IR72158-68" in 2004. F2 to F5 were grown and selected during 2005-2006 at Bang Khen Rice Experiment Station. Ongoing observation and yield trials were done at Chachoengsao Rice Research center during 2007-2013. The line was tested for brown planthopper (BPH) resistance at Pathumthani Rice Research Center and found the reaction level of MR. BKN04004-1-1-1-1 gave average yield of 712.8 kg/rai greater than those of RD23 and Suphanburi 60 that gave 588 and 617.4 kg/rai, equal to 17.51% and 11.98% higher respectively. การตอบสนองต่อปุ๋ยไนโตรเจนของข้าวนาชลประทานสายพันธุ์ดีในเขตภาคตะวันตก Thai Agricultural

Response of nitrogen rates was investigated in Ratchaburi Rice Research Center during dry and wet season 2013 with 10 irrigated promissing rice lines/variety with different nitrogen rates of check 0 6 12 18 24 and 30 kg(N)/rai. The result showed rice yield in dry season 2013 at 6 18 24 and 30 kg(N)rai equal to 505.0 533.6 528.9 and 579.7 kg/rai with nonsignificant but in wet season 2013 there was different yield at 0 6 12 and 18 N-rates with 24 N-rate that gave highly yield of 622.4 kg/rai. In dry season 2013 PTT 00018-10-1-2-1 gave highly yield of 553 kg/rai but non different from RD31 check variety that gave yield of 519.29 kg/rai.
