| Being the IODE Regional Coordinator for the Black Sea region I, in the first place, maintained contacts and collaborated with Chairman of the IOC Black Sea Regional Committee (BSRC) Prof. Valery Eremeev from the Marine Hydrophysical Institute of the Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences. As is generally known, one of the main tasks of BSRC is to coordinate and conduct activities on Pilot Project 1 «Black Sea GOOS».
