| ABSTRACT The growth of the Brazilian aquaculture has stimulated the development of the productive chain of native species, including marine environment. The objective of this study was to evaluate the growth performance of juvenile mojarra fish (Diapterus rhombeus) fed diets containing different concentrations of crude protein (32, 36, 40 and 44 g 100 g-1). The 80 juvenile mojarra (7.2±1.5 g) were kept in 16 circular tanks (150 L). The study design used was completely randomized with four treatments and four repetitions. | Avaliaram-se níveis de lisina digestível em rações para alevinos de tilápia-do-nilo (Oreochromis niloticus), linhagem tailandesa, com base no conceito de proteína ideal. Utilizaram-se 432 alevinos com peso inicial de 0,98 ± 0,03 g, distribuídos em delineamento inteiramente casualizado, com 6 tratamentos, 6 repetições e 12 peixes por unidade experimental. Os tratamentos constaram de seis rações isoenergéticas (3.000 kcal de ED/kg de ração) e isoproteicas (39,14% de PB) contendo 1,50; 1,66; 1,82; 1,98; 2,14 ou 2,30% de lisina digestível. | The objective of the present study was to investigate crude protein reduction and the methionine+cystine and threonine to lysine ratios in diets for reversed Nile tilapia fingerlings (Oreochromis niloticus), Thai strain. Four hundred and twenty Nile tilapia fingerlings with an average initial weight of 1.83 ± 0.02 g were placed in a completely randomized design, with five treatments, seven replications per treatment and 12 fish per experimental unit, for 37-days. | The objective of this study was to determine the coefficients of apparent and true digestibility of protein and amino acids of five feedstuffs (corn, wheat bran, soybean meal, corn gluten meal and fish meal) in 900 sex-reversed Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) of the Thai strain during the growth phase, with an initial weight of 315±8.45 g. | ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to determine the digestible tryptophan requirement of tambaqui (Colossoma macropomum) fingerlings and its relationship with digestible lysine. A total of 300 tambaqui fingerlings with three initial weights (2.12 ± 1.19, 8.13 ± 0.75, and 15.18 ± 1.91 g) were distributed in a randomized complete block design, consisting of six treatments (0.225, 0.256, 0.288, 0.319, 0.350, and 0.381% of digestible tryptophan) and five replicates of 10 fish per plot.
