| The objective of this study was to evaluate the use of different fertilizer doses of controlled release in the production of seedlings Aspidosperma parvifolium A. DC. The experiment was carried out in a nursery at the University of the State of Santa Catarina, in the city of Lages. The seedlings originated from seeds, sown in plastic bags of 500 cm3 and filled with commercial substrate Tecnomax®. The design was completely randomized with four treatments, consisting of four increasing doses (0, 2.5, 5 and 7.5 g L-1) Osmocote® fertilizer. For each treatment were used five replications with four plants each.
