| Three new ostracod species, each belonging to a new genus, were described by the first author (DE VOS, 1953). They had been found on the body and the legs of Limnoria lignorum, the well-known woodburrowing isopod. Since then, we have been looking for commensals in several new lots of European Limnoria, and in this way we obtained valuable new data on morphology and distribution of two of the three ostracod species described. Moreover, Dr. Robert I. | In Juni 1947 werden door mij in enige plasjes in de bosaanplant aan de Z.O.-kant van het eiland, in slootjes tussen de diverse bospercelen en in enige watertjes aan de Westkant (geen eendenkooien!) monsters genomen en wel op de volgende plaatsen: i. Ijsbaan achter het dorp Oostvlieland, 10 VI 2. Plasje in het bos, ten Z. van het schelpenpad langs de Weekend-huisjes, 10 VI 3. Visvijvertje, vlak bij vorig plasje, 10 VI 4- Plasjes bij Vliehors, ten Z. van de grote weg-, li VI 5. Plasje ten Z. van de grote weg iets meer naar Bomenland, 11 VI 6. | While examining a number of Limnoria lignorum (Rathke) living in a piece of cork washed ashore at Zandvoort (Netherlands), Mr. J. H. Stock found attached on abdomen and legs of these Isopods some Ostracods belonging to the family of Cytheridae. As the specimens, though having characters in common with some known genera, differ markedly, I propose to establish 2 new genera, viz. Aspidoconcha and Redekea. Dr. W. Vervoort [1950, Harrietella simulans (T. Scott, 1894). A commensal Copepod on Limnoria lignorum (Rathke), Zool.
