Studies in Annonaceae. VIII. A cladistic analysis of Tetrameranthus Naturalis
Koek-Noorman, J.; Zandee, M.; Westra, L.Y.Th..
The small genus Tetrameranthus (five species) stands isolated within the Annonaceae. A cladistic analysis was carried out using macromorphological characters in order to find possible apomorphies and to attempt a phylogenetic reconstruction. In the “best” cladograms there appear two subsets, one formed by T. duckei, T. macrocarpus, and T. pachycarpus, the other by T. laomae and T. umbellatus. Both are supported by a number of apomorphic character states. Any other conclusions remain speculative.

The genus Rubus (Rosaceae) in Malesia. 1. Subgenera Chamaebatus and Idaeobatus Naturalis
Zandee, M.; Kalkman, C..
In subgenus Chamaebatus two Malesian species are recognized, in subgenus Idaeobatus 18. Synonymy, descriptions, and habitat notes are given, sometimes extending to, but not complete for, extra-Malesian parts of the species areas. No new names or combinations are published. Keys are given to the species.

Component-compatibility in historical biogeography Naturalis
Zandee, M.; Roos, M.C..
-The problems of reconstructing historical relationships for areas of endemism from distributional data for groups of taxa and the cladistic relationships among the members of those groups can be solved by applying the two principles of parsimony and mutual inclusion or exclusion (compatibility) of components. Components can be extracted from a data matrix by means of transcription into partial monothetic sets. The data matrix thus derived represents the distribution over areas for the monophyletic groups in one or more cladograms. It is derived from two different matrices by boolean multiplication. The first matrix gives the binary representation of distributions of taxa over areas of endemism; the second describes the cladogram for the same taxa, in...
