| The essence and significance of integrating agricultural information resources in western China were summarized. The integration methods were introduced from the following four aspects: agricultural information infrastructure, database, collaborative management and service application. The integration technologies were discussed, the core of which lies in integrating distributed application via software and realizing the trans-departmental and trans-system exchange and share of information through controlling information.
