| Scutellaria x hybrida, the hybrid between S. galericulata and S. minor was recognised for the first time in the Netherlands. In 1994 and 1995 several populations were found in woods Northeast of Oldenzaal, in the Province of Overijssel; the hybrid populations were already observed in 1978, but not recognised as such (held for S. minor); at all Dutch localities thusfar it grows without parents. |

| Carex colchica J.Gay werd eind april 2012 massaal aangetroffen in droge, zandige wegbermen tussen Hardenberg (Overijssel) en Coevorden (Drenthe) over een lengte van meer dan tien kilometer. Deze soort is rond eind april gemakkelijk te traceren vanuit de auto vanwege de opvallende, strokleurige bloeiwijzen. Het massale voorkomen van deze traditioneel als zeldzaam beschouwde soort was aanleiding zijn actuele verspreiding in het centrale en oostelijk deel van het land nader te onderzoeken.
