Wisteria floribunda, known as wisteria, is a woody climbing plant with inflorescence raceme type, stalky supported, which provides value for the cultivation towards ornamental purposes. Its propagation occurs via seeds or stem cuttings. The low rate of seed germination makes the vegetative propagation a more efficient method. The presented work verified the influence of synthetic auxin application, indole butyric acid (IBA), in different concentrations, such as its application way, talc or solution, in the rooting of wisteria cuttings. With branches of stock plants, collected in November 2012, were made cuttings of approximately 10 cm length, 0.5 cm diameter and with two leaves.
