การลดความรุนแรงของโรคไหม้ของข้าวโดยการปลูกแบบหลายสายพันธุ์ในภาคเหนือตอนล่าง Thai Agricultural

This study was carried out at Phitsanulok Rice Research Center during 2008-2010 aiming for minimizing rice blast severity by growing 2 rice lines differed in blast resistance to broaden rice genetics. In 2008, resistance screening was performed on 2 sets of blast resistant rice lines derived from KDML105 having different donors of resistance developed by Ubon Ratchathani Rice Research Center. Ten selected blast isolates were inoculated one at a time onto 21 day-old seedlings at 50,000 spores/ml and kept at 25 o C in the controlled room for 7 days before assessment. The brown planthopper (BPH) is one of the most important insect pests imposing limitations on the production of rice. The objective of this study is to investigate the effects of 32 BPH populations on 21 varieties of rice with differences in resistance to BPH while the TN1 variety used for a susceptible check. The previou by seedling box screening techniques and Standard Evaluation System for Rice. However, the limitation of this study was the analysis of data using only cluster analysis to group the sources of BPH and rice varieties but there was no detailed analysis for each group.
