| This article presented the important of rice combine harvester and the operating of the 3 main components of rice combine harvester causing harvesting losses were the header unit, threshing unit and cleaning unit. The operating factors of the header unit were reel index, cutting speed, age of cutter and grain moisture content. The perating factors of the threshing unit were rotor speed, louver inclination, feed rate, grain moisture content and grain to material other than grain ratio. The operating factors of the cleaning unit were sieve inclination, sieve speed, sieve diameter, air speed, grain moisture contend, feed rate and sieve bulk head. |
