| Comparison of soil preparation methods for direct-seeded rice in Tung Samrit area was conducted in order to evaluate the effectiveness of suitable dry direct seeding technique. The experiment was carried out in farmer’ fields in wet season 2012 using an RCB design with 4 replicates. Five treatments were tested consisting of 1) 2 ploughs, sowing and raking, 2) 1 plough, sowing and covering dry soil using a rotary, 3) 1 plough, sowing and covering moist soil using a rotary, 4) 2 ploughs, sowing and covering dry soil using a rotary, and 5) 2 ploughs, sowing and covering moist soil using a rotary. | Study examines the economic efficiency in organic rice production in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Yasothon, Surin and Phatthalung province. Data for the study was collected from 223 organic rice farmers in the 5 provinces. Production function analyses which incorporate the conventions test of economic and technical efficiencies were use as the analytical technique. Finding resealed that gained the economical return in term the ratio of net income over the production cost of 6.7, 4.3, 3.6, 2.3 and 1.2 in Surin, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phatthalung and Yasothon respectively. Further environmental effect was the factor is the most influencing farmer decision to change production cost rather than market price, marketing and outside supporting. |

| Objectives of this study were to investigate the cost and return to farmers on their corn production classified by varieties in Tak Fa district, Nakhon Sawan province in 2009 crop year. Out of 122 farm samples, 75, 13, 19 and 15 farms were found using variety A, B, C and others, respectively. The results showed that most of the farms had a similar production pattern. In addition, it was found that variety B had the highest cost of production, average yield, revenue and net profit (3,667.3 Baht/Rai 1,112.9 Kg./Rai 4,218.0 Baht/Rai and 550.7 Baht/Rai, respectively). | Research is study system, process, cost and benefits including its solutions and preventions by growing vegetable’s cauliflower, white cabbage, lettuce, broccoli, celery, and green cabbage in the year grown 2009-2010 by comparing buffaloes manure and chemical fertilizer mixed buffaloes manure. The data collection selected by using purposive random sampling and quota random sampling considered in 3 factors, i.e. numbers of buffalos, its owners, and areas for growing vegetables.
