圧縮法によるキャベツ収穫適期判定の基礎的研究 OAK

近年, キャベツ収穫には一斉方式の収穫機が導入されているが, 実際には生育差が大きいために生産者からは3回程度に分けて選択収穫することが望まれている。本研究は選択収穫機のための適期判定装置の開発を目的とし, 結球頂部を2段階圧縮して変位と荷重の関係から適期判定する方法について検討した。結球は, 熟度が進むほど変位荷重曲線の傾きは大きくなり, 収穫適期となるランク3で最も変位が小さく硬くなる。本判定法の荷重35~40Nの場合, 未熟なランク2では「アーリーボール」で16%,「金系201号」で8%のキャベツを収穫適と誤判定したものの, 収穫適となるランク3では両品種とも81%の精度で適期判定した。 Presently,cabbage harvesting is done manually by selectively picking up cabbage heads directly from the field three times per harvest season. However,researches are being conducted that will lead to the development of simultaneous harvester. In this research,the system that determines the maturity of the cabbage head was developed for selective harvesting.
