| Descrição de novos táxons em Hippopsini, Desmiphorini, Xenofreini e Acanthoderini (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae, Lamiinae). Espécies novas descritas da Bolívia: Trichohippopsis exilis sp. nov., Megacera acuminata sp. nov., Acanthoderes onca sp. nov., Psapharochrus pinima sp. nov., Ateralphus lacteus sp. nov., Nesozineus simile sp. nov. e do México (Chiapas, Guerrero) X. guttata sp. nov. O nome novo Monnetyra é proposto para Anhanga Galileo & Martins, 2003 non Anhanga Distant, 1887 (Hemiptera). Nova combinação: Monnetyra diabolica (Galileo & Martins, 2003). Registra-se para a Bolívia Xenofrea pseudomurina Tavakilian & Néouze, 2006. |

| Synopsis of the genus Exalphus Restello, Iannuzzi & Marinoni (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae, Lamiinae), with description of a new species and new country records. A synopsis of Exalphus Restello et al., 2001 is presented. Exalphus solangeae sp. nov. is described from Brazil (Amazonas). A key to identification with illustrations for 14 species of the genus is provided, and notes on distribution with new records are included for nine species: E. biannulatus (Aurivillius, 1921), E. calvifrons (Bates, 1872), E. colasi (Lane, 1965), E. foveatus (Marinoni & Martins, 1978), E. gounellei (Lane, 1973), E. guaraniticus (Lane, 1955), E. leuconotus (Thomson, 1860), E. malleri (Lane, 1955) and E. spilonotus Restello, Iannuzzi & Marinoni, 2001. |

| ABSTRACT Ateralphus Restello, Iannuzzi & Marinoni, 2001 is a Neotropical genus of longhorn beetles composed of nine species. This genus was proposed from splitting Alphus White, 1855 into other two genera: Ateralphus and Exalphus Restello, Iannuzzi & Marinoni, 2001. Even though Ateralphus (nine species), Alphus (four) and Exalphus (18) were recently revised, their validity has not been tested using phylogenetic methods. In this study, we carried out a cladistic analysis of Ateralphus and its related genera, Alphus and Exalphus, based on 44 morphological characters of the adults, to test their monophyly and infer the relationships between their species.
