Evaluation of new red winemaking technologies through consumer liking Ciência e Agrotecnologia

Several studies proposed changes in winemaking technology in order to improve wine quality, reflecting on its high acceptance. Thus, the aim of this work was to evaluate the influence of pre-drying and constant pumping effect technologies on sensory attributes of Bordô (Ives) and Isabel red wines through the acceptance evaluation of appearance, aroma, body, flavor and overall acceptance. Eighty consumers evaluated the samples using a 9-point structured scale and sensory data were analyzed by Cluster Analysis followed by Multidimensional Scaling. Abstract The objective of this study was to evaluate the quality of commercial red wines (Isabella and Ives [IsB]; Isabella, Ives, Seibel and Concord [IsSC]; and Isabella and Ives [IsBb]) produced from Isabella and Ives grapes grown in southern Brazil. The parameters required by Brazilian law were evaluated, and the chemical parameters of the phenolic compounds, organic acids, anthocyanins and antioxidant capacity were quantified for red wine samples containing the Isabella and Ives grape. Rootstocks in developing rustic grapevine in two counties in West of Paraná State, Brazil Sci. Agrar.Paran. / SAP

The vine, when studied in different places and years, allow extensive conclusion on cultural adaptation in a specific region. The objective of this research was to evaluate two rootstocks and three cultivars of rustic grapes under bench grafting at Toledo and Ouro Verde do Oeste (Paraná State, Brazil). Both researches were conducted in a private property, evaluating forming and plant development and of this plants in field. Bench grafting was used for plant forming, by saddle graft.
