Some new species of the subfamily ‘Leptoceratoidinae’ (Ancyloceratina, Ammonoidea) in uppermost Hauterivian and lower Barremian deposits from Rumania Naturalis
Avram, E..
The Berriasian — lower Valanginian genus Leptoceras reappears in the lower Barremian sequences of Rumania, where it is represented by at least two species: L. brunneriforme sp. nov. and L. svinitense sp. nov. This record has led to a revision of the so far accepted taxonomic interpretation of the criomorph Barremian Leptoceratoidinae and of their relationship with the Berriasian-Valanginian Protancyloceratinae. In addition, a new species of the genus Hamulinites (H. nicklesi, from the uppermost Hauterivian) provides evidence that the genus Eoleptoceras Manolov should be considered valid.

The Berriasian genus Groebericeras in Argentina and the problem of its age Naturalis
Aguirre-Urreta, M.B.; Alvarez, P.P..
Groebericeras bifrons Leanza is described from the Chacao Formation of central Mendoza and the Lo Valdés Formation of central Chile. The species appears limited to the Argentiniceras noduliferum Zone, which is traditionally placed in the lower Berriasian. Spanish records of Groebericeras appear to be younger (Hoedemaeker, 1982), while Groebericeras from Iraq were placed in the late Berriasian by comparison with the Spanish records (Howarth, 1992).

Type specimens of Maastrichtian fossils in the National Museum of Natural History, Leiden Naturalis
Leloux, J..
The type specimens of Maastrichtian invertebrate fossils from Limburg, The Netherlands, present in the National Museum of Natural History, Leiden, are listed. The Upper Cretaceous plant type specimens from Limburg of Miquel that were once part of the Staring collection present in the Palaeobotanical Museum of the Utrecht University are also included. Specimens of species described by Bosquet are also listed, since they possibly include type material. Short biographies of some of the important collectors and investigators are presented.

The ‘Pseudocrioceras interval’ and adjacent beds at La Bédoule (SE France): implications to highest Barremian/lowest Aptian biostratigraphy Naturalis
Ropolo, P.; Gonnet, R.; Conte, G..
Biostratigraphical investigation of the marly limestones of the La Bédoule area (SE France) has revealed a rich macrofaunal interval in four different sections, mainly consisting of the ammonite genera Pseudocrioceras and Barremites. A detailed study of the immediately under- and over-lying beds shows that in all four sections, the Pseudocrioceras interval, unambiguously equivalent to the Pseudocrioceras coquandi Zone of Busnardo (1984), occurs stratigraphically between a late Barremian heteroceratid fauna (Colchidites aff. tsholashensis (Rouchadze), Martelites aff. vulanensis (Egoian), Simionescites aff. simionescui Avram) of the Martelites sarasini Zone (Hoedemaeker et al., 1993) and an earliest Aptian deshayesitid fauna (Deshayesites antiquus Bogdanova,...
