Contributions des mesures automatisées à haute fréquence de type FerryBox pour les programmes thématiques Eutrophisation et Habitats Pélagiques de la DCSMM. Campagnes 2018 ArchiMer

Dans le cadre du programme de surveillance des descripteurs DCSMM 1HP et 5, un suivi saisonnier des paramètres physico-chimiques et biologiques liés à ces descripteurs a été mis en place à l’échelle des SRM Manche Mer du Nord et Mer Celtique en 2018. Ce suivi implique les campagnes halieutiques optimisées IBTS et CGFS ainsi que 2 campagnes dédiées DCSMM déployées par le CNRS dont la stratégie d’échantillonnage pour le D5 et D1HP a été proposée dans un précédent rapport. Parmi les outils déployés lors de ces campagnes saisonnières, les outils de mesures Hautes Fréquences automatisés de type FerryBox ont été proposés comme complément aux méthodes conventionnelles Basses Fréquences dont les données alimentent les indicateurs DCSMM. Sea level variability in the central Red Sea ArchiMer

Analyses of the daily means of the sea level at Jeddah and Port Sudan for the year 1991 reveal that a large proportion (60%) of the energy is concentrated in the seasonal variations. The seasonal signal is approximated as the sum of an annual and semi-annual components. The amplitudes of the annual component are 20.3 and 12.7 cm respective! y and constitute about 44% of the total variance. The amplitudes of the semi-annual cycle are 9.6 cm and 7.7 cm and explain about 10% and 16% of the variance respcctively. At Jeddah cross-spectral anal ysis between the sea-level and the wind stress components shows that the annual cycle is mainly induced by the long-shore component. The study of the spatial structure and temporal evolution of several hydrobiological parameters in a flooding docks system provided a good illustration for the analytical power of a methodology dealing with the statistical processing of multivariate timeseries. This technique can be characterized by prior extraction of the trends, treated separately as ordinary multivariate data, and by a consequent multi-spectral analysis of the residual signais. This procedure offers the advantage of clarifying the analysis of the major features of the phenomenon (i.e. the trends) and unmasking the subtle spatio-temporal structure through the residual signais.
