| Blast and bacterial leaf blight diseases are major diseases, which cause damage to yield and quality of rice in Thailand. Evaluation of rice lines/varieties from rice gene germplasm bank (Rice Department) and rice germplasm from International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) under the International network for genetic evaluation of rice (INGER). Reaction test to blast and bacterial leaf blight diseases, with the objective for blast and bacterial blight evaluation resistance of rice lines/varieties, were conducted at Chainat Rice Research Center in 2008 – 2014. 1,200 rice germplasms were used for reaction test to blast disease.
