Kakabadze, M.V.; Hoedemaeker, P.J..
The stratigraphic ranges and systematics of heteromorphic ammonites from Lower Cretaceous (Hauterivian-Barremian) deposits in Lower Saxony, northern Germany, are revised. Nine genera and fortyseven species of the family Ancyloceratidae Gill, 1871, are described. One genus (Fissicostaticeras) and 20 species are new; Emericiceras ressense, E. sornayiforme, E. serpentinum, E. subtilicostatum, E. gotti, E. hannoverense, E. kemperi, Crioceratites hastensis, C. subisocostatus, C. vermiformis, Fissicostaticeras claviferum, F. aequicostatoides, F. rarocinctoides, Paracrioceras kleini, Acrioceras (Acrioceras) sarstedtense, A. (A.) crassicostatum, A. (A.) aegidii, A. (A.) longum, A. (A.) astrictum and Uhligia aegidii.

Substantiation of the Barremian/Aptian boundary Naturalis
Bogdanova, T.N.; Prozorovsky, V.A..
This paper focuses on the Barremian/Aptian boundary in the Trans-Caspian area. Results of a stratigraphical study of the uppermost Barremian and the lower Aptian succession in the Trans-Caspian area are presented. The bed-by-bed description of three sections — Keldzhe, Tekedzhik and Utuludzha — is given as well as detailed lithologic columns. Five ammonite zones are known in the studied stratigraphic interval — the Turkmeniceras turkmenicum, Deshayesites tuarkyricus, D. weissi, D. deshayesi, and Dufrenoya furcata zones. These zones are correlated with those of Europe. The Barremian/ Aptian boundary in the Trans-Caspian area should be drawn at the base of the D. tuarkyricus Zone. It corresponds to the layers with the first occurrences of Deshayesites,...

Small Berriasian, lower Valanginian and Barremian heteromorphic ammonites from the Río Argos succession (Caravaca, southeast Spain) Naturalis
Vasícek, V; Hoedemaeker, P.J..
The small heteromorphic ammonites from the Berriasian, lower Valanginian and Barremian strata of the Río Argos succession (west of Caravaca, southeast Spain) are described. One new genus is introduced, Sabaudiella (type species Ancyloceras sabaudianum Pictet & de Loriol, 1858), and three new species, Sabaudiella argosensis (small paraspinoid shell), Protancyloceras obscurocostatum (weak retroverse ribs with small ventrolateral tubercles) and P.? evolutum (evolute shell with occasional fibulation).

Some new species of the subfamily ‘Leptoceratoidinae’ (Ancyloceratina, Ammonoidea) in uppermost Hauterivian and lower Barremian deposits from Rumania Naturalis
Avram, E..
The Berriasian — lower Valanginian genus Leptoceras reappears in the lower Barremian sequences of Rumania, where it is represented by at least two species: L. brunneriforme sp. nov. and L. svinitense sp. nov. This record has led to a revision of the so far accepted taxonomic interpretation of the criomorph Barremian Leptoceratoidinae and of their relationship with the Berriasian-Valanginian Protancyloceratinae. In addition, a new species of the genus Hamulinites (H. nicklesi, from the uppermost Hauterivian) provides evidence that the genus Eoleptoceras Manolov should be considered valid.
