La mise en place d'une nouvelle zone de filière ostréicole fait actuellement l'objet d'une demande de la Section Régionale Ré Centre-Ouest. L'objectif du projet est de transférer une partie de l'ostréiculture d'estran sur filières, le tout à biomasse constante afin d'obtenir un gain de productivité. Deux sites ont été proposés. La proximité des zones d'élevage (mytilicole et ostréicole) en filières laisse supposer une compétition possible de l'exploitation des ressources alimentaires dans l'ensemble géographique du Pertuis Breton. Par conséquent, le choix du site d'élevage est particulièrement important et doit être sélectionné de façon à minimiser l'impact sur les cultures déjà existantes. Several oceanographic surveys in Martinique waters with, as main objectives, either geological mapping and evaluating marine aggregate resources of research into deep water carcinologie resources, nafe produced interesting informtion on benthic pppulations situated from the infralittoral to the bathyal shelf, for the wole of faunistic groups and more specifically for the malacofauna. The distribution of the various faunistic group has been analysed in function to the bathymetric, edaphic and possibly, thermic factors. The Reykjanes Ridge is a major topographic feature of the North-Atlantic Ocean that extends from Iceland to the Charlie Gibbs Fracture Zone. Located between the Iceland Basin and the Irminger Sea, the Reykjanes Ridge strongly influences the subpolar gyre circulation and is a gate toward the deep convection areas. In Marennes-Oléron, Héral (1986) described the relationship between the annual production and the oysters' biomass over a century. His conclusion is that the drop in the growth of oysters was caused by an "overstorage" considering the trophic capacity of the basin. Moreover, the large intertidal spaces, though providing a great opportunity for mollusc culture, suffer from a large bio-deposition (Sornin 1983) which tends to intensify the sedimentation of the basin.
