虫残存枝豆についての情報提供と消費者反応 OAK
河田, 幸視; KAWATA, Yukichika.
The purpose of this paper is to examine how well consumers understand the attributes of pesticide-free and/or pesticide-reduced vegetables when they purchase them. Estimating the Option Value of Ashtamudi Estuary in South India: a contingent valuation approach AgEcon
Anoop, P.; Suryaprakash, Satrasala.
Ashtamudi estuary of south India provides many direct and indirect use values to the local community in terms of fishing, coconut husk retting, recreation and inland navigation. Nowadays the estuary is facing many threats like pollution, reclamation, injudicious fishing practices etc. At the same time it is having many potential future uses also. So it is imperative to assess the option value of the estuary to appraise the importance to conserve it. Here a contingent valuation method is applied for the assessment. The high option value of the estuary indicates the urgent need of conserving it for the potential future uses.

The Payment Vehicle Used in CV Studies of Environmental Goods Does Matter AgEcon
Ivehammar, Pernilla.
This paper examines the effect of the payment vehicle on the valuation of an environmental good with the contingent valuation method (CVM). Results from three CV studies comparing different payment vehicles by using split samples when valuing environmental encroachment caused by roads in Sweden are presented and compared to results from other such split-sample studies of payment vehicle effects. The results are consistent and show that the payment vehicle affects the valuation, but not always the way expected when considering incentives to behave strategically.

Mohd Azmi, M.I.; Cullen, Ross; Bigsby, Hugh R.; Awang Noor, A.G..
Forests form the dominant natural ecosystem in Malaysia. About 55% of Malaysian land area is forested and endows a rich diversity of flora and fauna. Peat swamp forests constitute a significant component of forest and account for about 75% of the country’s total wetlands. Many peat swamp forests have already been converted to new land uses including palm oil plantations, agriculture and housing. The south-east Pahang peat swamp forest (SEPPSF), located at Pahang state is the largest peat swamp forest cover in Peninsular Malaysia and is believed to be the mainland Asia’s largest and intact peat swamp forest.
