Efecto de la levadura Saccharomyces cereviciaie desintegrada y tres fracciones en una línea celular y como aditivo alimentario en el cultivo de Artemia OceanDocs

En el presente estudio se evalúa el efecto que la levadura Saccharomyces cerevisiae de forma desintegrada (LD) y tres fracciones obtenidas de ella (complejo pared-membrana (FP), núcleo- proteínas (FN) y citoplasma (FC)) produce en dos modelos biológicos experimentales: la línea celular MB16-F10 y la especie Artemia franciscana. Para los estudios celulares se empleó la parte soluble de cada una de estas fracciones probándose las concentraciones de 0.5, 1, 2, 5 y 10 µg/mL adicionándose el valor de 25 µg/mL para LD y FC. Se determinó el efecto en la proliferación, vitalidad y fases del ciclo celular a las 48 y 72 horas. In the last years, the prevalence of HPV infection in the anal region has increased, especially in some groups like homosexual and HIV-positive people. Since this infection can be associated with the development of squamous anal cancer due to its progression from HPV infection to anal intraepithelial neoplasia (AIN) and finally to cancer, the screening and evaluation of these conditions are important. Anal cytology and high resolution anoscopy are good methods that are available and can be used. Although useful, these methods should be performed correctly and not indiscriminately in all patients. Interest in the role of extracellular vesicles in various diseases including cancer has been increasing. Extracellular vesicles include microvesicles, exosomes, apoptotic bodies, and argosomes, and are classified by size, content, synthesis, and function. Currently, the best characterized are exosomes and microvesicles. Exosomes are small vesicles (40-100 nm) involved in intercellular communication regardless of the distance between them. They are found in various biological fluids such as plasma, serum, and breast milk, and are formed from multivesicular bodies through the inward budding of the endosome membrane.
