| Missions, expertises, participations à des réunions et visio-conférences, travaux collaboratifs et échanges se sont succédé pendant l'année 2011 entre les experts de métropole et les correspondants dans les DOMs. Une mission, qui a eu lieu aux Antilles en mars 2011, ainsi que la participation aux COPILs de Guadeloupe et de Martinique fin 2011, ont permis d'échanger sur les résultats du suivi et des évaluations provisoires de l’état des masses d'eau, de proposer les ajustements nécessaires, et de préparer l'intégration des données DCE dans Quadrige². Une proposition écrite pour l'amélioration du plan de surveillance 2012 en Martinique a également été faite, suivie d'effet. | Data collected during cruises of the Former Soviet Union (in 1963-1989) and the British Atlantic meridional transect program (in 1995-1999) were used to analyse macroscale patterns in phyto- and zooplankton biomass, size structure, species diversity, chlorophyll a, and plankton bioluminescence in the macroscale anticyclonic gyre of the South Atlantic Ocean. The spatial pattern of bioluminescence intensity was in good agreement with that of remotely sensed (CZCS) chlorophyll a, phosphate, salinity, and copepod species diversity index distributions especially in terms of geographic inclinations of the isolines, both associated with the north-westward pattern off the South equatorial current. | Nutrients levels of marine water along the North of France coastline are growing-up. They have a good chance to become a problem in the future. Since 1992, a network of three radial lines is sampled at regular interval to supervise on long term : 1. Parameters levels that show the environment quality (temperature, salinity, turbidity,total suspended matters, organic suspended matters, chlorophyll, phaeopigments, phytoplankton). 2. Nutrients concentrations ( ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, silicate) that enrich the environment , and may be responsable of its deterioration. The report shows the results of the first three years survey. I t strikes a correlation between the tested parameters and takes stock of the present situation. |

| La réunion du Groupe de travail Phytoplancton ‐ Hydrologie 2012, du 17 décembre 2012, a conduit à deux recommandations. La première recommandation concerne la définition des masses d'eau turbides. En effet, la liste de masses d'eaux turbides actuellement utilisée pour l'évaluation phytoplancton n'est pas satisfaisante, car absolument pas homogène d'une région à l'autre, et souvent en contradiction avec le typologie DCE. il est donc proposé de partir de la typologie existante pour la DCE, en la nuançant d’avis d’experts dans les cas où elle n’est pas totalement satisfaisante. Cette nouvelle définition des ME turbides, réalisée selon des critères plus homogènes sur l'ensemble du littoral, sera utilisée pour la prochaine évaluation de l'indicateur... |

| During the cruises "SUROIT 1", "SUROIT 3" and "THALIA 1", many analyses of dissolved oxygen and chlorophyll have been carried out in order to ascertain some effects of oil spill of "AMOCO CADIZ" on oxygen concentrations and phytoplancton behaviour. These first results show an under-saturation of oxygen, four weeks after stranding, in sea-water standing between 10 to 20 milles eastward of "AMOCO CADIZ". These data allow to do some considerations about oxydation of hydrocarbons in sea-water. In estuaries, especially Aber Wrac'h, one of the most polluted, the analyses do not show obvious anomaly one month after oil spill. | Par son rôle essentiel dans le fonctionnement des écosystèmes aquatiques, le phytoplancton apparaît comme un indicateur pertinent de la qualité des milieux marins. En métropole, différents groupes de masses d’eau ont été définis, et les grilles qui s’appliquent aux différents indices (biomasse/ chlorophylle a, abondance / proportion de blooms) et qui permettent de classer chaque masse d’eau, sont propres à chaque groupe de masses d’eau. | Le paramètre choisi pour l’évaluation de l’indice biomasse de l’élément de qualité phytoplancton est la chlorophylle-a, et la métrique utilisée est le percentile 90. Des grilles doivent être définies pour pouvoir assigner à chacune des masses d’eau la classe de qualité qui lui correspond du point de vue de cet indice. Différentes grilles, adaptées aux eaux très oligotrophes des trois départements outre mer que sont la Martinique, la Guadeloupe et La Réunion, ont été testées, et les résultats de ces simulations sont présentés ici. | The data of hydrology, nutrients and chlorophyll obtained in the Bay of Seine over the period 1978-1994, from 14 océanographie cruises, are synthetised and illustrated by an atlas. The Bay is a typical example of a coastal area influenced by a large river. In winter, the nutrient input is drained off into the eastern Channel. In spring, nutrients are consumed intensively. Silicate is the first that drops to limiting levels. The spring bloom generally begins in the centre-east of the Bay. Chlorophyll a can reach up to 40-70 µg/l during the year, values typical of eutrophic coastal areas. Despite the regular increase of nitrogen inputs, the biomass (as chlorophyll) has not significantly changed over a fifteen year period. |

| This work is part of a general study aiming at the modelling growth and dispersion of the larvae of Pinctada margaritifera in the lagoon of Ahe atoll (Tuamotu, French Polynesia). The general objective of this study is to set up a model coupling the growth and the dispersal of chlorophyll and particulate matter according to different spatial and temporal scales. Totally 1111 samples were taken in 12 stations from April 21st to May 28th, 2007. The speed and the direction of the wind bad a significant effect on the different parameters.
