It concerns: Anthoeua anjuna spec, nov., Bunodosoma goanensis spec, nov., Synantheopsis parulekari spec, nov., Paracondylactis cf. sinensis Carlgren, 1934, and Stichodactyla haddoni (Saville-Kent, 1893). Details are given on the synonymy, cnidom and distribution of these species.

Corallimorphus profundus in shallow Antarctic habitats: Bionomics, histology, and systematics (Cnidaria: Hexacorallia) Naturalis
Riemann-Zürneck, K.; Iken, K..
In March 2000 and November/December 2001 thirteen specimens of Corallimorphus profundus Moseley, 1877, a conspicuous, anemone-like cnidarian, were hand-sampled by SCUBA diving in 30 to 40 m depth off US Palmer Station, Antarctic Peninsula. Corallimorphus species were formerly recorded only from deep water habitats from where they had been brought up more or less damaged, with most of their epithelia lost or macerated. The present well preserved specimens offer the opportunity to study various aspects of the species’ morphology and biology, particularly as one mature female contained a full cycle of oogenesis besides two batches of brooded developmental stages. Most of the results obtained demonstrate that the genus Corallimorphus shows features and...

The sea anemone Bunodactis octoradiata (Anthozoa: Actiniaria) from southern Patagonia: morphological study and new records Rev. Bras. Zool.
Garese,Agustín; Longo,María V.; Martin,Juan P.; Acuña,Fabián H..
Bunodactis Verril, 1899 comprises at present 19 nominal species of sea anemones. The validity of the genus is under discussion. The description of the species, Bunodactis octoradiata Carlgren, 1899, is insufficient for reliable identification, and although subsequent works have provided additional information on the species, its description still needs to be complemented. Herein we describe B. octoradiata based on histological sections of the internal anatomy, and give a complete and detailed description of the external anatomy. The cnidom is composed of spirocysts, basitrichs and microbasic p-mastigophores; their distribution in the organism, sizes and relative abundances are provided. The presence of zooxanthellae is reported for the first time....
