Exploración de enemigos naturales nativos de Rhagoletis pomonella Walsh, (Díptera: Tephritidae) en tejocote Crataegus spp. en comunidades del centro de México. Colegio de Postgraduados

El manejo del tefrítido Rhagoletis pomonella en zonas productoras de tejocote Crataegus spp. en México, se realiza bajo un esquema convencional basado en el uso de insecticidas químicos. Es importante considerar una transición agroecológica, que comience por la unidad productiva, para lo cual es esencial la participación de los productores agrícolas involucrados. La inclusión de la investigación social en este estudio permitió conocer la manera en la que los productores enfrentan el problema fitosanitario en este cultivo y las expectativas que tienen al respecto. Agronomic and economic viability of intercropping onion and lettuce Horticultura Brasileira

The study aimed to evaluate the agronomic and economic performance of intercropping onion and lettuce on four plant densities of each species. The experiment was set up in completely randomized blocks, with four replications and treatments arranged in a 4 x 4 factorial. Treatments resulted from a combination of four (100, 80, 60, and 40% of recommended plant densities in monoculture) plant densities for both lettuce and onion. Intercropping did not affect the agronomic performance of onion or lettuce. Higher plant densities (100% for both vegetables) resulted in higher lettuce and onion yields. It is known that active compounds can change because of several factors, including the cropping system.
