The sunflower (Helianthus annus L.) represents an important alternative crop for rotation programs, because sunflower can be cultivated at different times of the year. The objective of this work was to select sunflower cultivars adapted to production in Taubaté-SP. Experimental data from 2000 to 2001 evaluated the performance of four cultivars: Cargill 11, CATISSOL, RUMBOSSOL-90 e MORGAN 734 in a randomized complete blocks design, with five blocks and plots consisting of six lines of 5.0 m each, distanciated 0.80 m; the distance between plants inside the row was 0,25 m. The cultivars RUMBOSSOL-90 and MORGAN 734 were the most productive for cultivation in Taubaté-SP off-season |
