The dental student should have thorough knowledge of the dental morphology and develop adequate manual skill to reproduce any part of the tooth, thus maintaining the perfect correlation with associated structures. Computers are becoming an integral part of dental education and dental practice, especially for the acquisition of information in three dimensions and the production of solid objects from computer models. Dens evaginatus in Hemophilic Patient: A Case Report International Journal of Morphology

Tooth development occurs through the interaction between oral tissues during embryogenesis. Alteration through odontogenesis may cause tooth morphological alterations, one of these could be Dens evaginatus. This anatomical variation could be originated from an abnormal proliferation and folding of a portion of the inner enamel epithelium and subjacent ectomesenchymal cells of the dental papilla into the stellate reticulum of the enamel organ during the bell stage of tooth formation. Dens evaginatus is defined as a tubercle, or supplemental solid elevation on some portion of the crown surface. Abstract Borioteiioids comprise an extinct family of squamates that inhabited the Northern Hemisphere during the Cretaceous and were characterized by varying patterns of tooth replacement and dental morphology. Understanding the evolution of these tooth replacement patterns has, however, been largely hampered by an extremely fragmentary fossil record. Here we present new information on Dicothodon bajaensisfrom the Campanian of Baja California (Mexico), so far known only from isolated teeth and jaw fragments. Among abundant new materials there are ten maxillae and five dentaries belonging to distinct ontogenetic stages. The relationship between dental morphology, sex, body length and age of small cetaceans can be used to determine ontogeny, sexual dimorphism and geographical variation. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between dental morphology, sex, body size and age. A total of 91 specimens of P. blainvillei and 80 specimens of S. fluviatilis accidentally captured in fisheries or stranded in northern Rio de Janeiro (21º37'-22º25'S), from September 1988 to November 1996 were analysed. The teeth root diameter in P. blainvillei was significantly different between the sex; the values for females were larger than males.
