ABSTRACT Direct seeding systems are characterized by soil disturbance only occurring in the sowing line and the maintenance of the remaining area is achieved by covering with crop residues. Without total area soil mobilization as recommended by the no-tillage system, associated with the increase in the degree of soil compaction caused by the traffic of agricultural machinery, there can be a decrease in crop productivity. Basic study for the appropriate cultivation method of groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.) in Tokachi region. OAK

十勝地方におけるラッカセイ生産の可能性を模索するため、帯広畜産大学実験圃場でラッカセイ品種「千葉半立」、「ナカテユタカ」、および「おおまさり」の栽培を行った。栽植方法(直播、あるいは移植)、および栽植密度(標準植:5.1 株/ ㎡、あるいは密植:7.7 株/ ㎡)の組合せによる4 試験区を設け、2016 年5 月23 日にそれぞれの品種の栽培を開始した。茎葉の黄変期に収穫を行い、収量構成要素や子実収量の評価を行った。千葉半立とナカテユタカでは、子実収量に対する栽植方法と栽植密度の効果が認められた。両品種とも移植を行った試験区で直播を行った試験区に比べ収量が高かった。これは、移植を行うことで単位面積当たりの稔実粒数が増加することに起因する。また、両品種とも密植を行った試験区で標準植を行った試験区に比べ収量が高かった。千葉半立は半立ち性、ナカテユタカは立性の草型をもつため光競合を起こしにくく、十勝地方で栽培する場合には都府県の慣行法よりも栽植密度を高めることで土地利用効率が高まり、子実収量が改善されると考えられる。おおまさりでは、子実収量に対して栽植方法の効果のみが認められた。移植を行うことで直播を行った場合に比べ総稔実粒数や1000 粒重が高まり、子実収量が増加した。一方、おおまさりでは子実収量に対する栽植密度の効果が認められなかった。おおまさりは伏性の草型を持つため光競合が起こりやすく、十勝地方においても密植条件下では密度障害が生じ増収につながらないと考えられる。千葉半立とナカテユタカでは、移植・密植の処理組合せによる試験区で、おおまさりでは、移植・標準植、および移植・密植の処理組合せによる試験区でそれぞれ最も子実収量が高く、いずれも子実収量の全国平均(180g/...

Direct seeding is one of the most promising methods in restoration ecology, but low field seedling emergence from pioneer tree seeds still reduces its large scale applicability. The aim of this research was to evaluate seed priming for the pioneer tree species Guazuma ulmifolia. Priming treatments were selected based on seed hydration curves in water and in PEG 8000 solution. Seeds were primed in water for 16 h and in Polyethylene glycol - PEG 8000 (-0.8 MPa for 56 and 88 h) at 20ºC to reach approximately 30% water content. Three years experiments were conducted during 2010-2012 in order to develop and testing for rice yield improvement and production cost reduction in Southern part of Thailand. The first two years, the experiment was conducted in Phatthalung Rice Research Center, and the third year in the farmer fields. The Split Plot in Randomized Complete Block design was employed comprising rice varieties as main plots and rice seed rate or spacing as subplots with 4 replications. The objective was to evaluate the effects of initial weedy periods on the weed community and on the productivity of direct seeded and transplanted table beet cropping systems. A field trial was conducted at São Paulo State University, Brazil, in a randomized complete block design using a 2 x 13 factorial scheme. Direct seeding and seedling transplanting methods were evaluated within thirteen increasing weekly weedy periods.
