| This report presents results obtained by the LCPC in coastal Ecology. The contributions of the LCPC, as partner associated with the genetic studies, do not appear in this report. This report is divided in 5 parts of differing importance : • Task 2.2.3. A "multi-disciplinary study of the DYNAmics of estival mortalities of Crassostrea gigas in the Marenne - Oléron Basin (Dynamo-2002)"; study developed and directed by the LCPC after the “plat-table” C. gigas mortality model in the Marennes- Oleron Basin. • Task 2.3 . | Four laboratories are involved in this multidisciplinary study: the Conchological Laboratory of Normandie (LCN), the Invertebrates Physiology Laboratory (LPI), the Université Bretagne Occidentale (LEMAR IHP) and the Conchological Laboratory of Poitou-Charentes (LCPC). The part of the study which is presented here (thematics "Coastal ecology") was produced in collaboration with the LCN. The data on the Bay of Veys was collected by Michel Ropert. This study aims at observing the "sites" effect on mortality and on the general biology of the animal, as well as measuring some environmental elements (e.g. water temperature, etc.).
