Kleine Biogärten mit großer Wirkung Organic Eprints

Die Broschüre wurde im Rahmen des Projekts „Kleine Gärten – große Wirkungen“ erstellt. Im Mittelpunkt steht die Entwicklung von Bildungsmaßnahmen, um das ökologische Bewusstsein urbaner Gärtnerinnen und Gärtner zu fördern. Die Broschüre richtet sich als Praxis-Leitfaden vorwiegend an Multiplikatoren der urbanen Gartenszene, wie Verantwortliche aus Kleingartenvereinen und Gemeinschaftsgärten sowie aus der Stadt- und Kommunalverwaltung. Sie enthält Leitlinien für den Biogarten, welche die wesentlichen Prinzipien des biologischen Gärtnerns beschreiben. Wie in der Stadt das biologische Gärtnern gefördert werden kann, illustriert eine Reihe von Vorschlägen für Bildungsangebote und weitere Maßnahmen. The development of living on farm is described from an agricultural engineer's point of view focussing on opportunities for elderly in Finland. There are three main groups: Anthroposophical social farms, farms governed by a strict ecological philosophy of life, and farms looking for diversifi­cation concerning ecology, business and on-farm living communities. However, the boundaries between these groups are fluid. The farms may create additional income by offering accommodation, janitorial and transport services, basic and other services to people, who want to live on the farm.
