| Human body growth means structural changes of human body, whereas development means its functional changes. The purpose of this study was to study the influence of different sports in bodily growth of the young athletes. In order to analyze the influence of different sports profiles on human physical growth, in this study, 3011 footballers and 393 basketball players were tested. Two groups of athletes, according to their ages have been separated in four groups (ages 13,14,15 and 16 years old).
