| This exploratory research aimed to understand the Technological Innovation System (TIS) of hydroponics in Brazil, assessing its structure, evaluating its functional aspects and identifying its stage in the life cycle as technological innovation. The chosen methodology is bibliographic research, and the database comprises the proceedings of the four editions of the Brazilian Hydroponics Symposium and the first and only edition of the Brasilian Hydroponics Yearbook, published in 2018. The data analysis comprised the full reading of the selected contents, using the NVivo®12 Plus software.
