Última Notes on the genus Bythocaris G.O. Sars, with the description of a new species Naturalis Fransen, C.H.J.M.. During the CANCAP-5 expedition to the Azores (1981) a new species of Bythocaris was found. The new species is described and figured. It is compared with other members of the genus. A key to the species of Bythocaris is provided. The intra-specific morphological variation of B. payeri, B. leucopis and B. simplicirostris has been studied. The relevance of this intra-specific variation for distinguishing between species is discussed.
