In order to identify initial factors that can affect shrimp postlarvae survival during larval rearing, three larval rearing facilities from the Caribbean coast of Colombia were samplesd for 71 nauplii batches during 10 months of 1996. For each batch, cualitative variables (origin, transportation mode, presence of bacteria in transport water) and quantitative variables (transportation time and density, physicochemical parameters of the water, proportion of each nauplii stage and of deformed nauplii) were monitored. Fresh water systems are very important to men. They are used to diferents things like drinking water to humans, recreational bath and fishing culture, because of that, a good water quality is necessary and depends on its uses. Besides pathogens and sewage waters, contamination by organic mater could be so bad, resulting in death of water bodies. This can extinguish the disolved oxigen, which is a vital element for the development of the organisms that live in that water bodies. Se determinó un grupo de parámetros físico-químicos de las aguas del Acuario Nacional de Cuba (ANC) y de la zona de semicautiverio donde están confinados los delfines, con el objetivo de evaluar la calidad de las mismas. Los valores obtenidos fueron siempre inferiores a los límites permisibles de acuerdo a la propuesta de norma por el ANC o a Normas internacionales. |
